Andy’s market research found that medical lab companies wanted to provide additional value-added services to its physician and hospital clients by providing information back to the patient. Certain start-up labs found that such reports deepen patient loyalty, increase patient willingness to have regular blood work done and provide helpful information. Andy contacted PointOne and using REDBOX Technology, Andy set up a service that would take raw lab results and generate understandable, patient-friendly reports that can be sent easily to patients via e-mail, cell phones, Personal Health Records or anywhere the patient instructs.
